Falconets lost their opening match to Germany

Nigeria’s women’s U-20, the Falconets lost their opening match at the ongoing Under-20 Women’s World Cup in France.

After a goalless first half, Stefanie Saunders gave the German team victory over Nigeria in the second-half.

The Falconets will now face Haiti on Thursday, August 9 in a must-win game before their final group clash against China on Monday, August 13.
