Asake during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Friday said, in 1987, the then government of Kaduna State approved Ruga settlements in the old Kachia Local Government Area which now comprises Zangon Kataf, Chikun, Kajuru and Kachia Local Government Areas.
2. Miyetti Allah Says Osinbajo’s Office Helping Create Ruga Settlements
Baba Uthman Ngelzarma, General Secretary of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, says Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo’s office is helping the herdsmen to create Ruga settlements across the country. According to Ngelzerma, when the programme has been successfully completed, Nigerians would fully enjoy the benefits of animal husbandry.
3. Buhari Speaks On When New Minimum Wage Will Be Implemented
President Muhammadu Buhari has said the implementation of the new national minimum wage would commence soon. He called on state governments and employers in the private sector to work towards providing a living wage for their workers.

The apex Igbo socio-political body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has accused the President Muhammadu Buhari administration of exalting nepotism. It also alleged that the Buhari government was fanning the embers of religious bigotry in Nigeria following the proposed Ruga farm settlement across the country for Fulani herdsmen. Adam who spoke in Ibadan, Thursday, during the South West Security Summit, in Ibadan, Oyo State, blasted the governors for ignoring his counsel on how to tame herdsmen killings.

Busola Dakolo, the wife of singer Timi Dakolo, has alleged that the Head Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Biodun Fatoyinbo raped her. Concise News had last month reported that Dakolo berated Fatoyinbo for allegedly sleeping with his church members. In a series of Instagram posts, Dakolo claimed that Pastor Fatoyinbo had not stopped the act of sleeping with girls in his church.

Busola alleged that the clergyman raped her in her parents’ house in Ilorin, Kwara state.
10. Transfer News: Man Utd Completes Aaron Wan-Bissaka £50m Signing
Manchester United have completed the signing of Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka on a £50m deal, BBC reports.
