Eben who was born on the 9th of September into the family of six as the fifth child is a popular gospel vocalist, songwriter, and minister known for his Afro-pop, hip-hop-, and dance-influenced sound.
Raised in Lagos State, Nigeria in a family where Christian principles were nurtured and encouraged. Eben schooled at Orile Primary School, and later went to Community Grammar School, Orile, Lagos. He began his musical career in 1994 by singing in the youth choir, and later the mass choir at Winners’ Chapel.

Eben reveals how he was able to picked his bride from his throngs of admirer, admitting that indeed there was a lot of temptations around him back then before Jehdiel came into his life.
He said “Jehdiel is such a charming lady, she just stole my heart, she is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. She loves God and she is sold out on the gospel and anybody that loves God gets my attention. I think i’m lucky to have married someone like her.”
Eben said despite he had many women around him but God revealed to him that Jehdiel is the one for him, just has he reveal to her too. He said they have no choice but to get married.
